I hold two Bachelor of Science Degrees from Western Carolina University, a Bachelor of Science in Education with a concentration in secondary mathematics and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. I was awarded a North Carolina Teaching Fellows scholarship when I graduated from East Rutherford High School, and graduated with honors from Western Carolina University in 2012.
Experience
I have tutored for 8 years. I started tutoring as a peer tutor in high school. That continued when I went to Western Carolina University after I landed a job as a writing fellow. I read and reviewed other student papers and helped them edit their papers prior to final submission. Since graduating from college, I have taught for 4 years, and hold teaching certifications for high school math in North and South Carolina.

Hobbies
I obviously love all things math including puzzles, strategy games like Sodoku, card games like Spades and Hearts, and others. I am an avid reader and enjoy a wide variety of genres. Lately, I've really been enjoying reading James Patterson's "Women's Murder Club" series. I also crochet and make jewelry in my down time and love to decorate my home for holidays.
