I have been a teacher for more than 20 years. I attended the University of New Mexico, and have a graduate elementary education degree with a special education emphasis. I have worked with students from pre-school up to high school, and have considerable experience with special education students. My specialty is in writing and English. I am also a published author. I really like to teach, and enjoy working with children.I tutor students in elementary math, English, reading, writing, essay editing, phonics, grammar and mechanics, college essays, American history, earth science, IB Music, public speaking, religious studies, AP U.S. Government and Politics, life sciences, social studies, art, ISEE, study skills and organization, and test preparation.In my free time, I enjoy skiing, hiking, writing, singing, and spending time with my family.
